MANAGING THE PSYCHOLOGY
OF FEAR AND TERROR

Given the increasing climate of war, terrorism and natural disasters, and the associated paralysing effects of fear in the face of trauma, Dr Pamela Ryan initiated an unprecedented international project on Managing the Psychology of Fear and Terror. IDA co-ordinated the First International Assembly on Managing the Psychology of Fear and Terror in 2004 and since then IDA has made a substantial contribution to this field. This has included the widespread dissemination of Assembly Results and several collaborative ventures with Assembly Delegates.
